King William IV has been at the heart of Hampstead village for over 200 years. Situated right on the High Street, a stone's throw away from Hampstead Heath. The Willie, as it's known by the locals, has flourished into a Mecca for anyone looking for a quick drink and a bite to eat or spending the evening with your friends.
The Willie has been a proud gay pub since the 1930's, playing home to many gay celebrities in its time.
With its home away from home feel, it's perfect for Sunday lunch with the papers or even a drink after work. There's also our beer garden that seats up to 50 people and also we can cater for various events.

Quiz Night Is Back:
The weekly quiz night is back for 2011. Every Wednesday enjoy our entertaining quiz with our resident quiz master, Mini Doc. Quiz starts around 9pm, but come early and grab a bite to eat and a table for your team.

Our food menu offers a mix of dishes for any palate. We have a traditional varied roasts on Sunday, with a shortened selection from our main menu.
